This recommendation was originally stoned ramblings by Vincent Bird, translated into a Pitchfork-style review by Alexa K.

Los Campesinos! weaves a pleasant—albeit British—medley of sound for anyone keen enough to listen. Led by both a female and male singer, this dual-vocalist, dual-gender lineup lends an electrifying edge to the embodiment of each track, particularly for songs that veer down more sexual avenues. Their lyrics are no less acute, painting vivid, speculative pictures of high-definition imaginative landscapes. Romance is Boring stands out among the offerings of their discography, but any album is sure to be an auditory treat—and you'll be better off for it.

In the interest of transparency, here's the original:

the sounds are very good, if british. having both a male and a female vocalist makes the songs kind of gender especially when the song is about sex. imagery in the songs is really good I can picture it in my head. romance is boring is the best album but the other albums are also good please listen los campesinos
